The adoration chapel is closed on Sundays.
The Re-Opening of Carrig Church

Ordination to Priesthood
Wednesday, November 5th, 2008Rev Fergal O’Neill who was with us here in Birr as student and deacon, was ordained priest on Saturday 13 December 2008 in Mary Immaculate Church, Shannon, County Clare. The Bishop of Killaloe, Most Rev Dr Willie Walsh was the chief celebrant of the Mass.

Church of the Annunciation, Carrig
Thursday, October 23rd, 2008Thanks to all involved in the Mass of Thanksgiving celebrating the restoration and refurbishment of the Church of the Annunciation on Sunday 12 October. Bishop Walsh was the chief celebrant and it was a wonderful liturgy. Thanks also to all who prepared and served food in the Community Centre afterwards.
