The 4 parish communities of Birr/Carrig, Shinrone, Ballingarry, Kinnitty &

Kilcolman/Coolderry make up the Brendan Pastoral area.  This weekend we bid goodbye to Fr. Kieran Blake as he takes on his new assignment in East Clare and thank him for his faithful ministry and work for the 20 years he has lived and ministered here.  Fr. Michael O’Meara. Fr. Antony Sajeesh and Fr. Tom Hogan have now the responsibility to serve the families and communities of the 4 Parishes. Joan Hogan & Vonnie Dalton Murray will from part of this pastoral team.  Fr. Kieran’s move has necessiates a change to the weekend Mass roster.  The new adjustments are as follows: 

 Ballybrit Friday evening @ 8pm

Saturday evening Vigil @ 6pm Longford/Roscomroe/Cadamstown

6.30pm St. Patrick The Pike Ballingarry

7.30pm St. Brendan’s, Birr

8pm Coolderry

Sunday

8.30am St. Brendan’s Birr

9.30am The Church of Annunciation Carrig

9.30am St Colman, Kilcolman

10.30am St Brendan’s Birr

11am St. Mary’s Shinrone

11.30am St. Flannan, Kinnitty

12noon St. Brendan’s, Birr 

Change is never easy but it’s the reality of life, our individual parish communities are essential for the life and celebration of sacraments and liturgies.
