DESCRIPTION:Year of St. Joseph 2021\nPope Francis is well known\nfor his devotion to Joseph\,\nhusband of Mary\, foster\nfather of Jesus and Patron of the Universal\nChurch. He has\nwritten a meditation on St. Joseph\ncalled “With A\nFather’s Heart”.\nHe wanted to “share\nsome personal\nreflections on this\nextraordinary figure\nso close to our\nhuman experience”.\nSt. Joseph lived his\nlife in the middle of a\nchallenging and\nchanging world. The only\nreal constant in his life was his trust in God who\nwas always true to his promise to be with us in\nevery moment.\nPope Francis announced a “Year of St. Joseph”\nwhich will run until December 8th. Friday next\,\n19th March is the feast of St. Joseph. We have\nplaced the statue of St. Joseph in a prominent\nplace in St. Brendan’s. Prayer cards are available\nfor your personal reflection.\nSt. Joseph is a father who is beloved of Jesus and\nMary. He is a tender and loving father. He accepts\nwith trust that which he does not fully understand\nknowing that God sees the bigger picture. St. Joseph\, a man of faith\, hope and love.\nA Triduum of Prayer to St. Joseph – Thursday\,\nFriday and Saturday at 10.00 a.m. Mass with\nPrayer to the Sleeping St. Joseph.
