This weekend we begin the Advent Season with the blessing of the Advent Wreath at all our Masses. This four-week season helps us prepare spiritually for Christmas.

First Sunday of Advent

This week on Monday 8th December we celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Mary is such an important person in both the Advent and Christmas story.

Third Sunday of Advent
Bambinelli Sunday – we invite you to bring the figure of baby Jesus from the crib in your home for a special blessing for you and your family this Christmas.

Wednesday 17th December
Our Brendan Pastoral Area Advent Penitential Service at 7:30pm in St. Brendan’s RC, Wilmer Road with the opportunity for individual confession in preparation for Christmas.

Fourth Sunday of Advent
Our Annual Christmas Carol Service this year be held in St. Brendan’s RC, Wilmer Road, on Sunday 21st December at 7:30pm.
