Margaret White (Née Brady) Teallach de Faoite, Carrig Village, Birr, Co. Offaly/Tipperary, formerly of Aughafin, Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford. Passed away peacefully on April 7th, 2025, in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff of Esker Rí Nursing Home, Clara. Pre-deceased by her parents Patrick and Margaret Brady and her nephew Michael Hughes. Sadly missed and forever cherished by her loving husband, Gerry, devoted daughters Geraldine (Nevin) and Jean, her adored grandchildren Gearóid, Croía and Síne, her brothers Philip (Edenderry), Pakie (Edgeworthstown) and sister Mary (Hughes, Killoe), son-in-law Tadhg, sisters-in-law, brother- in-law, nephews, nieces, grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins, neighbours, former colleagues from Ulster Bank and her wide circle of friends. May her gentle soul Rest In Peace. Reposing at her residence (R42VW96) on Wednesday evening, 9th April from 4pm. to 8pm. Removal to the Church of the Annunciation, Carrig, on Thursday morning at 10.30am. for Funeral Mass at 11am. followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. House private on Thursday morning, please.

The death has occurred of Bernadette ‘Bernie’ Bracken nee King. Our dear mother passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on March 31st. Predeceased by her beloved parents Ned & Dolly. She will by deeply missed by her children & partners Ramona (Paddy), Nikola (Tim), Jason (Ciara), Aimee, Sarah & Steven (Aoife), their father Austin and her Adoring grandchildren Avery, Rian, Alexander, Aideen, Sadhbh, Saoirse, Tadhg & Cillian. Missed deeply by her loving siblings Meelie, Tom, Brendan, Mag, Paddy, Mary, Ger & Teresa, brother in laws, sister in laws, nieces & nephews, wider family & larger circle of friends. May she rest in peace Reposing at her home in Castletown, Fortal R42X339 on Wednesday 2nd of April from 4-7pm. Removal from her home on Thursday morning arriving 10.45 am at St.Brendan’s Church, Birr for requiem mass at 11am, followed by burial in Clonoghill Cemetery, Birr. Family flowers only. Donations made in lieu to the Irish Cancer Society.

Patrick Gleeson, The Green, Birr and formerly Park more, Carrig, Roscrea. Patrick passed away peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at the Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore, on March 19th, 2025. Pre deceased by his parents Jim & Annie & stepfather Stephen, his brothers Maurice & James. Pat will be sadly missed & fondly remembered by his loving wife Carina & brothers Tim and Michael, his uncle John and aunt Peggy, his sisters in law, brothers in law, cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends. Reposing at Boyd’s Funeral Home, Birr (R42 YF 75) on Friday, March 21st, from 5-7pm. with removal on Saturday morning to St. Brendan’s Church, Birr, for Funeral Mass at 11am. followed by burial in Clonoghill Cemetery, Birr.
