Predeceased by his beloved wife Maureen (née Clancy), his parents George & Margaret, brothers Peter & George, sisters; Mary, Margaret (Murdock), Anne (Winnett) and Bernie (Worrell).

He will be sadly and forever missed by his loving daughter Anne and her partner Paul, son John, granddaughter Hannah, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, his great neighbours and his wonderful friends and carers.

Pearl Parsons, (née Lynskey), 23 Bulfin Park, Birr, Co. Offaly, died April 1st, 2026, peacefully but unexpectedly, in the wonderful care of The Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore, surrounded by her loving famliy .

The death has occurred of Mary McDermott (née O’Keeffe) late of St. Brendans Villa’s and Newbridge St. Birr, Co. Offaly and formerly of Newport, Co. Tipperary.

Mary died peacefully on March 2nd, 2026, in her 88th year, in the care of The Clonmacnoise Ward, Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore, surrounded by her loving family. Mary was also cared for by the excellent staff of the Laurel Suite, Birr Community Nursing Unit where she resided for the last three years.

Predeceased by her loving husband John and her son Ger.

Mary will be sadly missed by her daughters Deirdre, Mary and Elaine, her sons; Andrew, Noel, Colm and Ian, also by her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, her brothers and sisters and her many neighbours and friends.
