The death has occurred of Bernadette O’Keeffe Church Road, Ballydehob, Cork / Birr, Offaly
O’KEEFFE (Church Road, Ballydehob, Co. Cork and formerly of Cambridge, England): On June 24th 2026 peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the tender care of the staff at Bantry General Hospital and Marymount Palliative Care Team. BERNADETTE (née Rochford) beloved wife of the late Frank (formerly of Main Street, Birr, Co. Offaly), much loved mother of Annie and Joe. Sadly missed by her loving children, daughter-in-law Serge, son-in-law Rory, sisters-in-law Margaret, Mary, Kate and Helga, grandchildren Tom, Hugh, Joshua and Ruby, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Bernadette will be reposing at her residence No.1, Cnoic Aoibhinn, Church Road, Ballydehob (P81 H735) on Saturday, June 27th 2026 from 5pm to 7pm. Requiem Mass on Monday, June 29th 2026 at 11am in St. Brendan’s Church, Birr, Co. Offaly. Funeral afterwards to Clonoghill Cemetery.

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Philomena peacefully on 23rd of June 2026, in her 92nd year. She died surrounded by her loving and devoted family, in the excellent care of the staff at Camcor, Birr Community Nursing Unit.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Mike, sisters; Moira, Cecelia, Anne, Teresa, Pauline and her brother Paddy.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her children John, Yvonne and Margaret, her daughter in law Michelle, sons in law PJ and John. Sadly missed also by her cherished grandchildren Eoghan, Katelyn and Amber, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Boyd’s Funeral Home (R42 YF75) on Thursday, 25th June from 5 – 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday morning (26th June) at 11:00am in Church of the Annunciation, Carrig (R42F889).

Elga Miscuka (née Steinberga) Apartment 16 D, Castle Mall, Castle Street, Birr, Co. Offaly and formerly of Latvia.
Elga passed away peacefully on June 11th, 2026, in the care of the staff at The Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore.
Elga is predeceased by her husband Vasilij.
She will be sadly missed and forever cherished by her loving daughter Santa, her grandchildren,
great-grandchildren, extended family, friends and all who knew her.

Predeceased by his parents Dan and Maisie.
He will be sadly missed by his loving son Christopher and daughter Marie, daughter-in-law Lisa, his grandchildren; Nathan, Halle, Daniel, Conor and Nicole, brothers; Brendan, Tony, Dan, P.J., Martin and Damien, his sisters; Mary (Furlong), Tricia (Fagan) and Betty (Mitten), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends May he Rest In Peace.
