Eamon McDonagh, Meadowville, Birr, Co. Offaly and formerly of Dublin, passed away on the 12th of September 2026, peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff of the Regional Hospital Tullamore (& Esker Rí Nursing Home, Clara), surrounded by his loving family
Eamon is pre-deceased by his beloved wife Margaret (who passed away 10 days previously) and his parents Jack and May
Cherished father to Emmet and Fergal, daughter in law Susan and will be very sadly missed by his loving granddaughters Katie and Lauren
Deeply regretted by his sister Marie, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends

Reposing at O’Reilly’s Funeral Home, Harbour Street, Tullamore (R35 FC84) on Monday (September 14th) from 4pm until Rosary at 6pm. Removal on Tuesday morning (September 15th) at 9.30am to St. Colmcille’s Church, Durrow, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am. Eamon will be laid to rest after Mass with his beloved wife in the adjoining Cemetery
