Offaly and formerly of Leeds, UK and Limerick, May 31st, 2023, (unexpectedly), in the care of Birr Community Nursing Unit,after a long illness. Predeceased by his daughter Alice and his son Michael. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Anne, daughters Linda (O’Flynn, Waterford) and Josephine (Cassidy, Limerick), sons David (Tallaght) and Tony, step-sons Tony and John Cooke,his step-daughter Diana (Walker) and her family, son-in-law Ger, daughter-in-law Tracey, Tony’s family in Denmark, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family in the UK., nephews, nieces, relatives and a wide circle of friends. May He Rest In Peace Reposing at Boyd’s Funeral Home, Birr, ( R42 YF75 ) on Sunday from 5pm to 7pm. Removal to St. Brendan’s Church, Birr, on Monday morning, to arrive at 10.45am for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Clonoghill Cemetery, Birr.
