The death has occurred of Gertie (Gertrude) Spain, née Coughlan, “St. Kierans”, Church Street, Birr, Co. Offaly, October 21st, 2021, in the wonderful care of Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe, in her 97th year. Predeceased by her husband Matt, she will be sadly missed by her loving children, extended family, relatives, friends and neighbours.
