Maura Joyce (née Errity), October 16th, 2026, peacefully at her residence, surrounded by great love and care in the company of her immediate family and cherished friend Joe Bergin. Pre-deceased by her beloved partner Ivan Goodwin, sister Kitty, brothers Johnny, Tony and David. Dearly loved and cherished mother to Olivia (in heaven) Sarah and Heather. Adored granny of Jack and Robyn. She will be greatly missed by her son-in-law Ger and Heather’s partner Ali, brother Gabriel, sister Margaret, sister-in-law Rita, nieces, nephews, relatives and many loyal and close friends.

Reposing at Boyd’s Funeral Home, Birr (R42YF75) on Sunday, October 18th, between 5pm. and 7pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Brendan’s Church, Birr on Monday, October 19th, at 11o’clock, after which Maura will be laid to rest with her beloved daughter Olivia in Clonoghill Cemetery, Birr. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Laura Lynn children’s foundation, or the Irish Cancer Society’s Palliative care Night Nursing service. House private please.
