MÓNA COLLINS (retired Matron of Ely House and Birr Hospital) – Hawthorn Drive, Crinkle, Birr, Co. Offaly and formerly of Monkstown, Dublin, September 30th (peacefully) in the wonderful care of Professor Crown and The Oncology Unit, St. Vincent’s Private Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by her parents Tom and Eileen and her sister Patricia, she will be sadly missed by her close friend Emer (Hanniffy), her brother Vincent, sisters Eileen (Doyle) and Josephine (Dooley), sister-in-law Carmel, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, relatives, her beloved close friends, the Hanniffy family, neighbours and friends here and in the U.S.
