Nessa McManus passed on Sunday, September 3rd, at two minutes to 5p.m. at home peacefully, surrounded by the voices of her children and family. Of Birr, Co. Offaly; formerly of Sydney, Australia, USA, Palmerstown, Dublin and Bray, Co. Wicklow. Predeceased by brothers Fintan and Brian, father Conor McManus, and mother Kitty McCann. Mother of heartbroken Laragh and Jamie, grandmother to Ziggy and Max. Youngest sister of Mary, Deirdre, Vera, Rhona, and baby brother Rory, sisters-in-law Pauline, Rosemarie, and Claire, and brother-in-law Sean. Adored confidante to Evie. Cherished aunt to Sonya, Natasha, Bill, Shane, David, Colin, Raymond, Conor, Fionnula, Eoghan, Sheena, Giolla, and Nadine and great-aunt (and a great aunt) to all of their children. A friend to anyone she ever met and a non-biological sister to those friends she held dearest. Reposing at home (9 Mineral Court, Birr) on Monday, September 4th, from 6p.m. -9p.m. Funeral private, at home on Tuesday, September 5th at 12 noon. Family and friends only.
