The death has occurred of Sarah Deirdre (Der) Garahy, London, UK / Birr, Offaly. Formerly of Coolnagrower, Fortal, Birr, Co. Offaly. Der passed away peacefully on the 21st March 2026 in London. She is predeceased by her parents James and Nora. Her brothers and sisters, Marie (Fahy, Athenry), Jo (Kilkenny, Dundalk), Brendan (Australia), Noel (Fortal), St. Angela (Dublin), and Paudge (London).

Deeply Regretted by her son Phil, daughter-in-law Carol, grandchildren Edward and Damien. Her sister Noreen and nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral Mass in St. Brendan’s Church, Birr on Saturday 9th May at 1.30pm. Burial of Ashes immediately afterwards in Clonoghill Cemetery, Birr.
