Finding God

Nothing is more practical than finding God, that is, than falling in love in an absolute, final way.

What you are in love with, what seizes your Imagination, will effect everything.

It will decide what will get you out of bed in the Mornings, what you will do with your evenings, How you spend your weekends, what you read, who you know, what breaks your heart, and what amazes you with love and gratitude.

Fall in love, stay in love….. And it will decide everything

Reflection

The Magnificat My soul glorifies the Lord, My spirit rejoices in God my Saviour. He looks on his servant in her lowliness; Henceforth all generations will call me blessed. The Almighty works marvels for me. Holy his name! His mercy is from age to age, on those who fear him. He puts forth his arm in strength And scatters the proud hearted. He casts the mighty from their thrones And raises the lowly. He fills the starving with good things, Sends the rich away empty. He protects Israel, his servant, remembering his mercy, the mercy promised to our fathers, to Abraham and his sons for ever. Amen
