Francis (Frank) Watkins, Meadowbrook, Birr, Co. Offaly and formerly of The Fighting Cock’s, Birr and Fivealley, Birr, passed away peacefully at his home, on July 15th, 2025, two weeks from his 82nd birthday. Predeceased by his beloved son Noel. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Aileen, sons David, Frankie, Alan and Brian, his daughter Sinéad (Conneely), son-in-law Mark, daughters-in-law Elaine, Sarai, Orla, Christine and Laura, his adored grandchildren; Róisín, Dylan, Morgan, Clodagh, Pádraic, Ailbe, Michael, Johnny, Harry, Lucy, Ava, Stewart, Francesca and Eva, Róisín’s husband Shane, his great-grandchildren Aoibhínn and Saoirse, his brothers and sisters; Mary (Feighery), Paddy, Noeleen and Joe, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, neighbours and many friends. Removal from his home on Friday at 12.15 to arrive at St. Brendan’s Church, Birr at 12.45 for Funeral Mass at 1 o’clock.                 Burial afterwards in Clonoghill Cemetery, Birr.
