Rody Carroll, Killeen, Riverstown, Birr, Co. Offaly, passed away on March 17th, 2026, in his 90th year, in the loving care of The Clonmacnoise Suite, Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore and previously in the wonderful Birr Community Nursing Unit.

Former employee of Bord na Móna.

Predeceased by his parents Peter and Catherine and brothers Patsy and Jack.

Loving husband of Kathleen, father of Shirley, Peter, Janet and Robert and adored grandfather of his eight grandchildren.

He will be sadly missed by his sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, his sister Mol, nieces, nephew, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May he Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Boyd’s Funeral Home, Birr (R42YF75) on Thursday evening from 5pm – 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday at 11am. in St. Brendan’s Church, Birr, followed by burial in Clonoghill Cemetery, Birr.
