Margaret Scully (née Lyons) Hillview, Fortal, Birr, Co.Offaly, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at home on April, 21st, 2024. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Tess. She will be forever missed by her devoted husband John, her loving children; Majella, Paul, Claire, Brendan, Ann Marie, Kevin, Aidan, James and Bernadette, daughter -in-laws; Annette, Lorraine, Jean, Caroline, Raisa and son-in-law Richard, her adored grandchildren; Darragh, Emma, Katelyn, Oran, Ross, Emily, Alex, Isobel and Jack, her sisters Mary (Breslin), Chrissie (Breslin), Teresa (Bracken) and her brothers Patsy, Flannan, Matt, Noel and John. Lovingly remembered by her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, her many good friends, her long standing carer and friend Mairead Kennedy, the carers of the IWA and Liberty Homecare. Michael Doran, Clonoghill Upper, Birr, Co. Offaly, and formerly of Taughmacconnell, Co. Roscommon. Retired Garda Sergeant, Michael died peacefully on April 3rd, 2024 in the care of the wonderful staff at Birr Community Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family, in his 86th year. Predeceased by his son Paul, brothers Jerome and Paddy, sisters Eileen and Betty. Beloved husband of Noreen and father of Liam, Micheal and Eamonn. He will be very sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren; Conor, Ciara,Amy, Adam and Michael, brothers; Frank and Jimmy, his sisters; Peggy, Maureen and Bridie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and extended family, his many friends and former colleagues in an Garda Siochana. Kathleen Davis, née Hynes, Emmet Street, Birr, Late of Parkmore Fivealley, Co Offaly, died the 1st of April, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the exceptional care of the matron and staff of Birr Community Nursing Unit, in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her husband John, father Tim Hynes, mother Rose Hynes, sisters Annie, Margaret, Mary and Bernie and brother Bill.
