The death has occurred of Michael (Mick) Mooney, 44 New Road, Birr, Co. Offaly and formerly Dublin, May 18th, (peacefully) in the wonderful care of the doctors and staff of The Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Maeve and devoted father to; Billy, Audrey, Maeve, Jennifer, Michelle and Michael. He will be sadly missed by his loving family; sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, his eleven grandchildren, brother Billy, sister Mary, extended family, friends and neighbours. May He Rest In Peace. Reposing at his residence on Friday evening from 5pm – 7pm with Rosary at 7pm. Aidan King, The Gables, Riverstown, Birr, Co. Offaly, May 10th, 2022, (suddenly). Predeceased by his Grandads; Willie Spain and Peter King and his uncle Charles. Cherished and beloved son of Paul and Mary, adored brother of Aislinn and Joseph, he will be sadly and forever missed by his family, his Grannies Betty (King) and Josie (Spain), Aunties Mary, Helen and Bernadette, Uncles Seamus and Clement, cousins; Conor, Sarah, Rachel, Cathal, Peter, Eoin, Sadbh and Niamh, Godmother Fiona, Godfather Paul and his wide circle of friends and teammates. Cherished and beloved husband of Darina (née Mullin) and adored daddy of Mark Jnr. Mary died on March 31st 2022, surrounded by her loving family in the excellent care of all the staff in the Laurel Suite at Birr Community Nursing Unit. She was predeceased by her beloved husband James, daughter Concepta (Hogan), parents Hugh and Bridget, sisters Margaret, Nancy and Teasie and brother Hugh.
